CKD Galbraith were appointed by the client to monitor the development of a livestock auction market, which was developed and constructed by a property developer, over which the client was to enter a long term lease.
We negotiated the development agreement and monitored the construction and developer's team throughout the development period.
The appointment also included advising the client on internal fittings and finishes and coordination and project management of the fit out of a commercial kitchen for the auction market caf.
The completed building was officially opened in July 2009 by Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond to widespread acclaim from both the local farming and business communities.
