Appointed to guide the design procurement, Galbraith managed a large design team involving Architects, Structural Engineers, Acoustic Consultants, Mechanical and Electrical Consultants, Quantity Surveyors, and Cinema Specialists.
The existing site was very challenging due to its small size, location and site preparatory works; however, through careful preparation and procurement strategy the project was managed throughout to remove and mitigate risks as the design developed and delivered the cinema to a very tight programme.
Despite impact from the Coronavirus pandemic, the client’s vision was delivered and Fort William has been blessed with an iconic building providing a fantastic venue and a hub for the local community and visitors.
