Partner Pam Over was appointed by London fund managers, CBRE Global Investors Ltd to Project Manage the refurbishment of Charlotte House Edinburgh.
The listed building is located on the corner of Princes Street and South Charlotte Street with unrivalled views of Edinburgh Castle. The offices comprise some 13,000 sq ft arranged over four floors above two retail units occupied by O2 and Santander Bank.
Pam Over led and implemented the eight month programme with her project team, which involved the full PM service, appointing the consultants, agreeing a design and cost plan, appointing the contractors, Sharkey and managing the project to completion. The specification included a fully refitted reception and new entrance opening complicated engineering solutions to allow the opening up of the floors. The asking rental is 25/sq ft with initial marketing proving very successful with three of the floor floors under offer within four weeks of PC.
