As part of ongoing community engagement at Tyninghame Estate, we recently organised and took part in a volunteer tree planting day for local people.
A good number of local residents turned out on a sunny Saturday morning to plant the trees. We replaced windblown cherry trees outside Tyninghame village hall and lime trees along the driveway. Following the session the volunteer enjoyed refreshments and relaxation at Tyninghame Smithy Café. These trees should continue to enhance the village environment for the future. A big thank you to all the volunteers and Tyninghame Smithy.
