Senior Client Accountant
Location: Stirling
|Full-time (Hybrid)
We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Client Accountant to join our busy Rural Client Accounts team based in Stirling. The ideal candidate will provide valuable support to the Head of Client Accounting.
The ideal candidate will provide valuable support to the Head of Client Accounting and provide first-class accountancy service to both internal and external clients. If successful you will be joining a diverse multi-disciplinary firm with offices across Scotland and Northern England specialising in property sales and lettings and the rural, energy, forestry and commercial sectors.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- key contact for clients, ensuring the delivery of all reporting to your own pool, as well as supporting the wider portfolio of clients.
- developing and supporting the team with financial analysis and financial reporting in line with client requirements.
- support immediate team as well as the wider Rural surveying team.
- approval of banking transactions in accordance with RICS Client Money Regulations and VAT returns.
Work Pattern
The role is offered on a full time basis, Monday – Thursday 8.30am-5pm & Friday 8.30am-4.30pm, a total of 37hrs per week. Hybrid working will be offered following an initial training period. Further details of this will be discussed at interview.
To be Successful
The successful candidate will be part qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience. You will hold knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel and Xero. You will have previous experience in both management and year end reporting, and display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
