Following advice to the client from partner Richard Higgins in relation to relocating in Carlisle, CKD Galbraith's Building Surveying team carried out a building survey as part of a move to larger premises on the same industrial estate. This identified a number of works required to the unit to bring it up to full repairing standard for the proposed lease.
After negotiations with the landlord, a specification of works was agreed, CKD Galbraith Building Surveying team monitored and signed off the landlord's works and agreed a schedule of condition over the external elements, limiting Bunzl's repairing and future dilapidations liability.
