CKD Galbraith were instructed by Buccleuch Property to undertake a full building survey and carry out due diligence. The client had a prospective tenant interested in leasing the building as a distribution warehouse.
As part of the survey we identified problems with the roof, including cut edge corrosion and water ingress, and the client successfully negotiated a price chip. The Building Surveying team were then instructed to procure cut edge corrosion treatment to the roof, together with other repairs, and a full contract administration was carried out.
The building is now fully let.
