Compliance & Data Officer

We are looking for a Compliance & Data Officer to join our Legal & Compliance team during an exciting period of growth within our executive team.

Galbraith is a diverse multi-disciplinary Firm of Property Consultants with offices across Northern
England and Scotland, specialising in the rural, forestry, energy, commercial, building consultancy
and residential sectors with a growing presence in the emerging Natural Capital sector.
We are looking for a Compliance & Data Officer to join our Legal & Compliance team during an
exciting period of growth within our executive team. The purpose of this role is to be the principal
assistant and line of support to our Legal & Compliance Manager. This role will involve a blend of
both Compliance focus and CRM administration & support. The role is offered on a hybrid working
arrangement with an office base of Edinburgh or Stirling.
Your New Role
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance Focus
- Assist the Legal & Compliance Manager with all parts of the wider role including
policies & procedure, complaints, AML & auditing. - Collaborate with L&C Manager to ensure the CRM system and related processes
adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies. - Conduct audits to identify potential compliance gaps and implement corrective
actions. - Provide training to employees on compliance best practices.
- CRM Administration & Support
- Serve as key administrator for the Firm’s CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Maintain and apply CRM documentation, including user guides, process workflows,
and training materials.
Manage data imports, exports, and date cleansing activities to ensure data
accuracy and integrity.T
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential, along with a passion for data
accuracy and compliance. You will be highly motivated, have proven organisational skills and
demonstrate a strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Ideally, you will also have a strong understanding of CRM principles and data management
concepts, and be familiar with compliance requirements and data privacy regulations such as
GDPR & DUAA. However, training can be provided in these areas.
The role may involve travel to other offices and therefore a full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
