The nearby picturesque village of Tighnabruaich provides day-to-day services and the land is within less than an hour’s drive of Dunoon. Hunters Quay, some 25 miles to the north east, provides regular daily crossings to the terminals at Gourock and McInroy’s Point, which in turn allows for excellent links to Glasgow Airport, the Greater Glasgow area and Central Scotland. Nearby Portavadie has a regular ferry service connecting to Tarbert and giving access to the Kintyre Peninsula and the Western Isles.

The City of Glasgow is 86 miles distant and can be accessed by road via the A83 or 60 miles via the ferry from Dunoon to Gourock.
