Spinners Well enjoys a secluded rural setting being approximately 0.8 miles to the west of the popular village of Fintry and some 16.5 miles south west of Stirling. The village of Fintry is surrounded by beautiful countryside and hills and offers an excellent range of day-to-day amenities with a nursery and primary school. Nearby Balfron, a short drive away, provides more extensive shops and amenities and a highly regarded secondary school.
The nearby villages of Killearn and Drymen also provide a good range of shops and local services including a number of convenience stores, a post office, several highly regarded pubs and restaurants, and a private sport club/spa and a tennis club at Drymen.
The historic City of Stirling offers a wider range of amenities including excellent shopping and leisure facilities, whilst Glasgow provides an excellent range of shops, restaurants, galleries and clubs.
