The land is bound to the east by the A823 and rises from 210m at its lowest point to the south east of the holding, to 270m above sea level at its highest point towards the west corner of the holding referred to as Glenquey Moss. The land is principally east facing and has been classified by The James Hutton Institute as a mixture of Grade 5.2 and 5.3. The land is accessed via a number of field gates that are located to the south of the holding, which lead off from a private road which connects with the A823.
The land within lot 1 previously had full planning consent for the extraction of sand and gravel within the area referred to as the Glenquey Quarry, located to the west of the holding.
