Old Kirk Farm is a compact and mixed livestock farm situated in a rural position within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The farm is situated in a private position and benefits from an attractive outlook over the surrounding countryside. The town of Balloch is only 1.7 miles to the south west and provides a range of local amenities and primary schooling and benefits from excellent transport links including a train station with regular services to Glasgow.
The towns of Alexandria and Dumbarton are 3 miles and 7 miles away respectively and both provide secondary schooling facilities and a larger selection of retailers, professional services and banking facilities. Glasgow about 22 miles to the south west offers a wider range of amenities including large shopping centres, leisure and business facilities with regular mainline rail connections throughout Scotland and beyond. Glasgow International Airport is only about 18 miles distant and offers regular domestic and international flights.
The farm is situated within the scenic Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park offering world famous scenery with a plethora of recreation and leisure opportunities including a wide range of water sports. The surrounding hills are extremely popular with hill walkers and climbers and the area also offers excellent opportunities for mountain biking, sailing, pony trekking, shooting and fishing.

Old Kirk Farm was historically run as a compact livestock unit and the property comprises of a traditional stone farmhouse and a dilapidated traditional steading. The farmhouse and steading are located centrally within the holding and are surrounded to the north, east and west by an area of agricultural land extending to approximately 50.81 Ha (125.55 Acres) in total. The land is split into a number of enclosures and benefits from a good level of access via several farm tracks which lead north and east from the farm steading.
Old Kirk Farmhouse is a traditional house of stone construction under a pitched slate. The house would benefit from a complete refurbishment throughout, but presents an excellent opportunity to reinstate the property to a modern dwelling.
