Cairnlea Farm and the Land at Meikle Drumquharn are situated in a delightful rural position, enjoying a spectacular outlook over open countryside. The popular village of Drymen is only 2 miles away and offers an excellent range of local amenities including primary schooling, library, range of pubs and hotels as well as the Buchanan Club private sports club, which forms part of the Buchanan Arms Hotel.
There is secondary schooling in nearby Balfron, whilst there is wider range of independent schools to be found in Dollar, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perthshire. The historic City of Stirling (about 20 miles) offers the full range of amenities including shopping, leisure and business facilities with regular mainline rail connections to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Glasgow (Scotland’s largest city) is only 19 miles away and Edinburgh (Scotland’s capital) is about an hour and a half’s drive away.

The farmhouse and range of modern and traditional farm buildings are located centrally within the holding, and are surrounded by an area of land extending to approximately 209.57 Ha (517.85 Acres) in total. The farmland is comprised of 2 principal blocks with access to Cairnlea Farm from a private road which leads directly from the A811. Access to the Land at Meikle Drumquharn is taken from the A81 which splits the land to the south of the holding. All of the fields benefit from access from a network of farm tracks or directly from the public roads.
