The subjects at Over Easter Offerance lie approximately 2 miles to the north east of the village of Buchlyvie. The land sits an area of open countryside bound by the River Forth to the north and Flanders Moss Forestry Plantation to the south west. The City of Stirling is situated approximately 16 miles to the east of the property with the M9 and M80 providing further links to both Edinburgh and Glasgow beyond.
The Land at Over Easter Offerance extends to approximately 41.21 Ha (101.83 Acres) or thereby and forms a single block of grazing and amenity land lying adjacent to the River Forth. The fields are principally flat lying and have been classified as Grade 4.1 and Grade 4.2 by the James Hutton Institute.
The Land is accessed from an unmarked public road over a section of private farmland. This track has recently been used for timber extraction from Flanders Moss and is in a poor state of repair. We understand that remediation works are due to commence in 2017 to repair the access track.
Giant Hogweed is evident on certain areas of the property and principally surrounding the derelict former dwelling house. A management plan is presently in place for eradication of this notifiable weed.
There is a modern agricultural storage shed situated to the eastern end of the property and this is a modern 5-bay general purpose/livestock/ implement shed measuring 30m x 18m and is of steel portal frame construction with wooden purlins and double skin lined profile sheet roof. Side walls are re-inforced pre-cast concrete panels with double skin insulated profile sheet cladding and hard core Whinstone floor. There are two pairs of large wooden framed sliding entrance doors on galvanised steel tracking at either gable end.
Totally derelict sandstone buildings and site of original farmhouse
