The hill ground extends to 465.39 Ha (1149.98
Acres) in all and lies to the south of the holding. The
land is bound to the west by an existing forestry
plantation and rises from 110 m at its lowest point to 637 m above sea level at its highest point adjacent to the neighbouring forestry plantation. The land is principally north facing and would provide the basis of a productive upland stock rearing unit.

The land has been classified by the James Hutton
Institute as being mainly Grade 5 and Grade 6,
with the improved pasture along the foreshore
being Grade 4.2. The land has historically carried
approximately 720 of a hefted sheep flock, and
also a further 20 cows have been run on the
land. Access to the ground is available via a track
marked A-B on the sale plan or the private road
which leads through the adjoining woodland
plantation to the Hydro Dam situated to the south
of the hill ground.
