Easter Glinns Farm
Easter Glinns is a traditional stock rearing farm
encompassing a productive block of in bye pasture and hill grazings. The farm is centred on a traditional farmhouse, which is in need of modernisation and refurbishment. The farm is also equipped with a traditional U-shaped steading range and a modern steel portal frame shed situated to the east of the farmhouse.
The majority of the farmland lies within a ring fence and is split into 14 enclosures with a block of amenity woodland located the north of the public road.
The majority of the farmland is of a north easterly aspect rising from the Pow Burn along the northern perimeter to the north face of the Fintry Hills. The land extends to 191.61 Ha (473.47 Acres) including roads, yards and buildings with approximately 102 acres down to permanent grazing and 358 acres of hill grazings. The farm currently carries approximately 450 cross ewes and is let on a Short Limited Duration Tenancy which is due to end in November 2015.
