THE LAND
The land in all extends to approximately 69.88 Ha (172.67 Acres) and is predominantly located to the south of the steading and includes the majority of the rough grazing ground at East Hill. The land varies in land class with the improved pasture fields adjacent to the steading being of better quality Grade 3:2 by the James Hutton Institute for Soil Research with the remaining land being Grade 5 and 6 adjacent to East Hill. Located to the south west of East Hill there is the Black Loch extending to approximately 1 Acre which is surrounded by a small broadleave woodland plantation.
