Leac Na Ban
The Land at Leac Na Ban lies in the heart of Argyll and is situated in the saddle of land between Loch Sween and Loch Crinan, right in the heart of the ancient kingdom of Dalriada, the Cradle of Scotland. The land consists of a mix of hill ground, and some meadow ground. It has a species-rich sward including three varieties of orchid.
The ground extends to approximately 20.64 Ha (51 Acres) and is situated in one block to the north and east of the private access track. the land is principally classed as Grade 5:2 and 6:1 by the James Hutton Institute for Land and Soil Research. The land is well drained and a number of small hill burns provide a reliable water supply.
