SITUATIONThis attractive block of amenity woodland sits in a peaceful rural setting 2.5 miles to the south west of the village of Burrelton in Perthshire which provides local services including a village shop, hotel and garage. The woodland sits in close proximity to the “Fair City” of Perth. The woodland is accessed directly off the minor public road that runs south west from Burrelton, the A94 can be easily reached which links to Perth and then on to Scotland’s motorway network.DESCRIPTIONMid Gallowhill Wood provides a lovely block of amenity woodland rich in wildlife and offers opportunities for recreational pursuits. The wood sits in an attractive area of gently rolling farmland and ranges from 130m to 140m above sea level. The woodland is primarily made up of broadleaved species of mixed ages, there is a light understory with woody shrubs and ferns. The woodland has high quality stock fencing around the boundary with three access gates from the public road. Set within the woodland is a timber general purpose forestry shed which is easily accessed by a hard-core track.
