The land at Newbigging sits approximately one mile to the north of the village of Newtyle, 2 miles south-west of the village of Meigle. The land sits on the Angus/Perthshire border within the Strathmore Valley, an area renowned for its fertile farmland. The area is well served by agricultural merchants and has an active Machinery Ring with the livestock market in Forfar being a 15 minute drive away.
The land at Newbigging has historically been utilised for the production of a wide range of arable crops including cereals, carrots and potatoes. Recently, the land has been sown in grass and let on a seasonal basis for sheep grazing benefiting from stock proof fencing. The land parcel comprises a single field with a generally flat aspect ranging from 65 – 70 metres above sea level. Access to the land is off the unnamed public road running between the B954 and A94.

From Dundee, pass through the village of Newtyle on the B954. After approximately 0.7 miles, turn left and after approximately 0.2 miles bear left and continue for another 0.2 miles turning right. The land is then located on your left hand side.
From Coupar Angus, take the A94 Forfar road. Follow the road for approximately 3.5 miles, turning right signposted “Camno”. Follow this road for approximately 1.6 miles and the land can be found on your right hand side.
