Kettins is nestled within the Vale of Strathmore, with its fine old church and is surrounded by fields and woods. There are lovely walks from the house around the village and along the Kettins Burn. The village has a primary school whilst Coupar Angus provides a good range of local services for everyday needs. Blairgowrie, about 6 miles to the north, offers more extensive facilities including a secondary school, supermarket, swimming pool and garden centre. The cities of Dundee and Perth, less than about 15 miles distant, provide extensive shopping plus cinemas, theatres, concert halls, art galleries and sports facilities. Dundee is a university city and is host to a remarkable centre of design established with the Victoria and Albert Museum. Both cities have mainline railway stations. Dundee also has an airport with flights to London City and other airports. Edinburgh and Aberdeen are respectively about 57 and 68 miles away by road.

DIRECTIONS
To reach The Old School Cottage from Dundee, follow the A923 and turn right at the Kettins crossroad (signposted to Kettins and Newtyle) just after the 40-mph limit begins a mile short of Coupar Angus. Coming from Perth or Forfar on the A94, join the Dundee road at the traffic lights on the Coupar Angus by-pass, turning left at the Kettins crossroad approximately a mile to the south. After entering Kettins village, take School Road and the property is located further along on the left hand side.
