Mill House is situated within the picturesque village of Powmill and is nestled within rolling countryside with outstanding views across the hills, in the county of Kinross-shire. The village has a small shop conveniently located and a short walk away. Kinross lies approximately 7 miles to the east and provides an excellent range of day-to-day services including supermarket, independent retailers, secondary school, doctors’ surgery and Post Office whilst the village of Crook of Devon provides a village shop and a primary school. Dollar lies some 5 miles distant with a good array of services together with Dollar Academy, a private co-educational school that takes primary and secondary day pupils and boarders. Further private schools include Morrison’s Academy and Ardvreck both in Crieff, Strathallan, Kilgraston and Craigclowan close to Perth, whilst Glenalmond lies slightly further north beyond Perth. Edinburgh can be reached in about a 40 minute journey by car to the south-east and provides extensive city amenities including its international airport and Waverley train station providing regular services south.

Kinross also offers a secondary school at Loch Leven Community Campus and has some beautiful walking and cycling paths with the Loch Leven Trails offering walking and cycling heritage trails around the shoreline of Loch Leven. The Kinross golf courses, The Montgomery and The Bruce are wonderful parkland courses with views of the West Lomond Hills.

Mill House is a former mill which has been extended in recent years and upgraded to a high standard by the current owners. The result is a wonderful family home which provides all the benefits of modern living whilst retaining character and charm. On entering the property, in the extended part of the house lie the kitchen, dining and family room, a wonderful space for family or entertaining.
