Sitting to the south of the Cairngorms on the northern fringes of the Strathmore Valley, Greymount Cottage enjoys an attractive rural situation 2 miles to the west of Alyth within the county of Perthshire. The county has a lot to offer, with picturesque countryside offering numerous opportunities for climbing, mountain biking and walking. The renowned Cateran Trail passes through the village of Alyth, with the slopes of Glenshee sitting a mere 25 miles away. For country sports enthusiasts, shooting and stalking can all be taken locally. There are numerous golf courses which can be accessed in approximately 10 minutes by car, including Alyth, Strathmore and Blairgowrie which hosts the championship course at Rosemount.
Alyth offers a good range of day to day amenities including a number of independent retailers, doctors and dental surgeries. Primary schooling is available in Alyth, with secondary schooling at nearby Blairgowrie High School. Blairgowrie offers further facilities including supermarkets and a leisure centre.

The cities of Dundee and Perth can be accessed in approximately half an hour by car and offer extensive shopping plus train and bus stations, cinemas, theatres, concert halls, art galleries and sports facilities. With Dundee also hosting universities and an airport with regular flights to London Stansted. Ground Floor
Two reception rooms, one of which is used as an additional bedroom. Off the kitchen is a workshop area which could easily be adapted to provide additional living space.
