GENERAL
The land at Pitskelly is located equidistance between Stonehaven and Laurencekirk and provides a ring fenced block of productive predominately arable land. The land is split into a number of good sized enclosures and benefits from stock fencing. All the land is designated as Grade 2 and is from the Stonehaven Association which is made up of ground forest soils with some Humus-iron podzols and noncalcareous gleys. The land sits between 67 and 86 metres above sea level and has a gently undulating gradient. The average rainfall for the area is 800 - 1,000 mm per annum. At present the fields are being farmed in conjunction with additional agricultural holdings. The land is situated to the south-east of the of A90, with access to the fields via a series of internal tracks. The land is in good heart and has supported a beef cattle enterprise in addition to an arable rotation. Potatoes are grown together with a range of arable crops in accordance with the Grade 2 prime arable land status.

DIRECTIONS
Heading north on the A90 continue for 3 miles after passing Fordoun and the land is located on your right hand side signposted Pitskelly. Heading south on the A90 pass Stonehaven and continue for approximately 6 miles with the land being located on the left signposted Pitskelly.
