The town of Crieff provides very good day to day facilities including a supermarket, medical centre, veterinary surgery, post office, primary schools and a community campus with secondary school, swimming pool, recreation centre and library. There are excellent independent schools in the area. The Crieff Hydro is located within the town which provides an excellent choice of restaurants, social events and activities. The Crieff golf course located on the edge of the town is one of Scotlands top inland courses. Comrie, lying on the banks of the River Earn is a popular tourist destination within the heart of Western Strathearn. To reach Druimantavore from Crieff, take the A85 road west from the town and travel about 3 miles towards Comrie. A sign for Monzievaird Chalets will be reached and after the entrance to the chalets has been passed, slow down as the entrance to the driveway up to Druimantavore is slightly concealed about 100 yards ahead. Take this private road and travel up the hill for first and second forks to the left.
