Blenkiron enjoys a highly sought after position in the historic village of Fowlis Wester on the North side of Strathearn. Fowlis Wester was once a main centre of the weaving trade, a cattle droving market to rival Falkirk and has been a place of worship since the eighth century St Bean’s Kirk houses famous Pictish stones and was the setting for the wedding scene in the film Chariots of Fire.
