Gruinard is located within close proximity to the M90 and the village of Cleish in the county of Kinross-shire. Cleish benefits from a primary school, village hall, sports field and Church. The small town of Milnathort, close by, is located within picturesque countryside and at the foot of the Ochil Hills, in addition to being near the north shore of Loch Leven where there is a national nature reserve. The world renowned Gleneagles golf resort is located about 18 miles away, which hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup.
