Plot 1 At Springfield
The subjects lie just a short distance from the village of Cleghorn which lies on the outskirts of Lanark in South Lanarkshire. Lanark offers a wide range of amenities including local and national retailers, bars and restaurants, schooling and medical services. There is also a railway station and coach station providing frequent services to Glasgow.
The subjects are ideally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, approximately 28 miles and 30 miles respectively. Both cities are host to international airports.
The subjects comprise two house plots located in a rural yet accessible location. The plots are bounded to the north by agricultural land, to the west by the A706 public road, to the south by residential properties and to the east by the Stobilee Burn. The subjects are currently laid to a mix of grass, trees and scrubs. The plots extend to approximately:
Plot 1: 0.6 acres
Plot 2: 0.65 acres
The subjects benefit from outline planning consent for two detached dwellinghouses, however, we are of the view they would also be suitable as a single house plot subject to gaining necessary consents.
Outline planning consent was granted by South Lanarkshire Council for the formation of two house plots on the 23rd September 2015 under application reference number CL/15/0377.
Copies of the planning consent and associated plans are available in the technical information pack.
