Westerton House sits in a superb and elevated position above the hamlet of Kinloch in the County of Perthshire. Blairgowrie lies approximately 3 miles to the south-east and provides comprehensive facilities and services including doctors surgery, cottage hospital, primary and secondary schools, supermarkets, individual retailers, banks and library. Dundee, known as the City of Discovery, (approximately 22 miles) is comfortably positioned from Westerton House and offers two universities, Olympia swimming pool, shopping centres and airport with regular links to London Stansted.

Westerton House lies within easy reach of numerous recreational activities. The Blairgowrie Golf Club boasts the championship Rosemount golf course whilst Dunkeld provides an 18 hole course. The Loch of the Lowes Nature Reserve is renowned for its ospreys and other wildlife whilst the surrounding hills and glens give varied and interesting routes for walkers. For the winter sport enthusiast the slopes of Glenshee lie to the north and can be reached in about an hour's journey by car.
