East Balloch Farm Cottage sits to the north of Kirriemuir at the foot of the Angus Glens. For those with an interest in countryside pursuits, Angus has a lot to offer with mountain biking, walking and climbing being available in the Angus Glens to the north and there is a wealth of opportunities for shooting, fishing and stalking to be taken locally. The town of Kirriemuir noted as the birthplace of J.M. Barrie(the creator of Peter Pan), sits approximately 4 miles to the south and offers a good range of day-to-day amenities including supermarket and a wide range of independent retailers as well as schooling, leisure centre, Post Office, doctors, dentists and veterinary practice.
From Kirriemuir head North leaving Cortachy Road following signs for Pearsie, follow the road for approximately two miles then bear left signposted Kingoldrum, after 0.5 miles you will pass through East Balloch Farm, once through the farm the cottage is on the right.
