Eshiels Mill is only 1 mile from Peebles, an attractive and popular Borders market town with excellent local services and a good selection of primary schools and a well regarded secondary school. Peebles has its own swimming pool, library and the Gytes Leisure Centre. There are lots of open spaces in the town including Victoria Park, Whitestone Park and Hay Lodge Park with paths and bridges crossing the Tweed.
Peebles is well placed for the commuter with Edinburgh only 23 miles to the north and only 20 minutes from the Edinburgh City Bypass.
