1 Juniper Bank Cottages
The Juniper Bank Cottages are set on the back road from Walkerburn towards Peel on the southern bank of the River Tweed in a delightful position with an open outlook. The cottage is of traditional construction with a pitched slate roof and requires a degree of upgrading throughout.
Walkerburn is an attractive village community with a shop, a hotel and a primary school. The main centre serving the area is either Galashiels or Peebles each about 10 miles in distance. Edinburgh with all the benefits of a major Capital city is 32 miles.
The area is popular both for rural living within the community of Upper Tweeddale. There are also exciting mountain biking trails that have been developed both at Glentress and in the forest of Innerleithen adjacent.
It is also popular for hill walking with the Southern Upland Way close by. Communications are good as the road into Walkerburn joins the A72 Peebles to Galashiels road which leads on towards Edinburgh.
1 Juniper Bank Cottage is a semi-detached traditional cottage built principally of stone with a pitched slate roof. No 1 is the eastern one of the pair.
The accommodation includes entrance hallway and sitting room with open fireplace, kitchen and bathroom with bath, handbasin and wc.
The first floor has two bedrooms.
GARDEN AND GROUNDS
The garden is set around the east of the property and is mainly lawn.
