Tweed Brae sits in a sheltered and private position on the southern edge of a small and exclusive luxury development on the south side of Birgham. The village of Birgham, with a population of approximately 200, sits about halfway between Kelso and Coldstream.

The village, on the banks above the River Tweed, has stunning views towards the Cheviot Hills in the south and the Lammermuir Hills in the north. A number of activities are run on a regular basis based at the Village Hall.

A wide range of local services can be found in Coldstream including a small supermarket, medical centre and various pubs and restaurants. A wider range of services, including major supermarkets are located in nearby Kelso. Tweed Brae falls into the catchment of Coldstream Primary School and Berwickshire High School.

The village has good access links being just 2 miles from the A697. The train station at Berwick upon Tweed lies 19 miles to the east from where there are regular train services to Edinburgh and London (London Kings Cross average 3hours 40 minutes).

Tweed Brae was built in 2014 and is a detached, two storey house. It is a traditionally built home with a modern and stylish finish. The uniquely designed property is bright and well presented and the interiors are thoughtfully designed.

On the ground floor the dual aspect sitting room opens onto the paved terrace. Double doors also lead to the terrace from the dining kitchen making an ideal circulation space.

Other features include stylish gloss kitchen units, a partially glazed kitchen/dining area and under-floor bathroom heating. The useful utility room boasts a good range of floor and wall units.

On the first floor the views to the south are far reaching. Being on the edge of the village the house looks over the church yard and rolling countryside to the Cheviot Hills. All bedrooms benefit from built in cupboards .
