Barony Park is in a popular, quiet residential location about half a mile to the south of, and uphill from, Kelso’s town centre.
Kelso is considered by many to be the most attractive of the Borders towns and is noted for its fine Market Square as well as the remains of one of the great Borders Abbeys. Kelso has a good range of shops, sporting and recreational facilities along with primary schools and an impressive new High School. Sainsburys supermarket is within easy reach of Barony Park.
Kelso sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot and the surrounding countryside is noted for its scenic beauty. The town has good road links with the other principal towns in the Scottish Borders and there are railway stations at both Tweedbank (16 miles) and Berwick Upon Tweed (25 miles).
12 Barony Park is an attractive bungalow which provides versatile and well appointed family sized accommodation. The property has been upgraded and improved since 2018 and is well presented. A modern “Worcester” gas fired combination boiler serves the central heating radiators and there is good built in storage space—including a part floored attic with ladder access.
The accommodation is all at ground floor level and includes:
Vestibule, hall, open plan L-shaped sitting room/dining room, kitchen, rear hall, family room/bedroom 4, three bedrooms and bathroom (with bath, basin and WC).
The attractive garden includes lawn, borders, gravel and a selection of trees. A patio behind the garage enjoys a good degree of privacy.
There is a single car garage, with electric door , and a small integral store. The tarred driveway leading to the garage has ample space for two cars—in tandem.
From The Square travel along Bridge Street and cross the River Tweed. Continue up the hill to the mini roundabout at Maxwellheugh and go straight ahead in to Station Road. Barony Park is the first right turn after the roundabout.
