LOCATION
The cottage enjoys a scenic rural location approximately 5 miles north west of Kelso. The property has a south easterly aspect to the front.

Girrick lies close to Mellerstain House, one of Britain's best stately homes, and for lovers of the outdoors there is good walking and cycling in the area.

Nearby Kelso is an attractive Borders town particularly known for its fine Market Square and for the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys. The town provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities. An impressive new High School has recently been built on the northern edge of the town.

Girrick enjoys good road links with the main Borders towns and the Borders rail link with Edinburgh terminates at Tweedbank—an attractive 12 mile drive along the Tweed Valley from Girrick.
