Morebattle is an attractive small village with a useful range of amenities including a post office/general store, primary school, inn and church. The surrounding countryside is noted for its scenic beauty and offers a wide range of country pursuits.

Nearby Kelso is a historic and attractive Borders town which lies at the junction of the River Tweed and the River Teviot. Floors Castle lies on the edge of town. Kelso has a wide range of shops, supermarkets, sporting and recreational facilities and an impressive new High School has recently been opened. Sporting and recreational facilities in the town include an ice rink, golf course, swimming pool and National Hunt race course.

DIRECTIONS
Travelling towards Morebattle from Kelso on the B6436 turn left to Frogden approximately 4 miles southeast of Kelso. Steward’s Cottage is the first property on your right as you head along this minor public road.
