Branxholm Town has an attractive rural location approximately 4 miles south west of Hawick. The cottage forms part of a group of farm cottages and buildings and enjoys some fine outlooks.

The surrounding countryside is noted for its scenic beauty and Hawick, with a population of around 16,000, is an important Borders town with a good range of shops, schools, sporting and recreational facilities.

The area is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and there are good road links with the other main Borders towns as well as with the north of England. The Borders Railway, with its regular train service to Edinburgh, terminates at Tweedbank, which is approximately 21 miles from Branxholm Town.

DIRECTIONS
Travel south out of Hawick on the A7. Pass the right hand turn signed “Roberton” and take the next right turn just after crossing the River Teviot Branxholm town lies on your left approximately 1.5 miles up this minor road.
