Priorsfield enjoys a peaceful, yet accessible, location a short distance to the east of Kelso’s town centre. The property’s main outlooks are to the southwest.
The house is close to Shedden Park and both the town centre, with all its amenities, and the River Tweed are within comfortable walking distance.
Arguably the most attractive of the Borders towns, Kelso is set in an area of great scenic beauty and is noted particularly for its fine Market Square and for the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys. The town sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot. Kelso provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities including golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling, National Hunt racing and fishing. A new high school is currently under construction on the edge of the town. Kelso has good road links with the other principal towns in the Borders and there are railway stations at both Tweedbank and Berwick upon Tweed.
Priorsfield is an attractive and well appointed semi-detached family home which has been modernised and extended since 2011.
The bright, spacious and well appointed family sized accommodation benefits from gas central heating and double glazing. Kitchen and sanitary fittings are modern.
The spacious back garden is child/dog safe and includes lawn, borders, decking and patios.
There is tarred parking for 3 or 4 cars in front of the house.
