Considered by many to be the most attractive of the Borders towns Kelso is noted particularly for its fine Market Square and for the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys. The town provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities including golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling, National Hunt racing and fishing. An impressive new high school has recently been built on the northern edge of Kelso, along with a new primary school in Broomlands.
Kelso sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot and the surrounding countryside is noted for its scenic beauty.
Kelso has good road links with the other principal towns in the Scottish Borders and there are railway stations at both Tweedbank (17 miles) and Berwick upon Tweed (25 miles).
Greenacre House is a tremendous modern detached family home which dates from around 2004 and provides bright, nicely proportioned and beautifully presented family accommodation.
Greenacre House benefits from oil fired central heating (the Grant boiler was renewed in 2017) and there is a multi-fuel stove in the sitting room. Reversible double glazed windows.
The house has oak doors, recently renewed flooring and carpeting, modern kitchen and sanitary fittings, mirror door wardrobes and a bright and spacious landing.
Entrance hall, sitting room with large conservatory off, dining room, kitchen with conservatory off, utility room and WC (with WC and basin).
Spacious landing, master bedroom with en suite shower room (with shower, basin and WC), 4 further bedrooms and family bathroom (with bath with shower above, basin and WC).

There is an integral double garage and ample mono block car parking with the house. Garden shed.
From Kelso head south on the B6352 Yetholm Road. Pass the right hand turn to Morebattle, taking the next right turn signed “Public Weighbridge” on to a minor public road. Mid Softlaw is a short distance along this road on your right and Greenacre House is the first house past the modern farm steading.
