Roxburgh is an attractive, small village on the west bank of the River Teviot approximately 3 miles to the southwest of Kelso. The village has an active community and amenities include a church and village hall. A foot bridge over the River Teviot leads to the Roxburghe Hotel and Championship Golf Course which lie within a mile of the village.
Arguably the most attractive of the Borders towns, Kelso is set in an area of great scenic beauty and is noted particularly for its fine Market Square and for the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys. The town sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot. Kelso provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities including golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling, National Hunt racing and fishing. A new high school is currently being built in Kelso - due for completion by the end of 2017. Kelso has good road links with the other principal towns in the Borders and there is a main line railway station at Berwick upon Tweed. The Waverley Rail Link between the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh terminates at Tweedbank which is approximately 16 miles from Kelso.
Teviot Bank is a tremendous, modern detached bungalow which dates from around 1993 and sits on a spacious plot extending to approximately one acre. The bungalow has a north westerly aspect to the front but the main aspect and outlooks are to the rear/southeast where the garden spreads out towards the River Teviot. There are superb views over the river, Roxburgh Viaduct, the historic Wallaces Tower and open countryside.
The spacious, well designed and well appointed family sized accommodation benefits from LPG central heating (the boiler was renewed in 2015) and windows are double glazed. There is a Jotul log burning stove in the sitting room. The bungalow is particularly well served by built in storage space.
