Arguably the most attractive of the Borders towns, Kelso is set in an area of great scenic beauty and is noted particularly for its fine Market Square and for the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys. The town sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot. Kelso provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities including golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling, National Hunt racing and fishing. There are plans to build a new high school in the town. Kelso has good road links with the other principal towns in the Borders and there is a main line railway station at Berwick upon Tweed. The Waverley Rail link between Galashiels and Edinburgh is to re-open in September 2015 with the terminal being at Tweedbank which is approximately 16 miles from Kelso.

From The Square travel east along Woodmarket, continuing into Shedden Park Road. Shortly after the mini-roundabout there is a Lidl foodstore on the right and Shedden Park Court lies on the right immediately past this. To reach No. 7 you walk or drive through a pend to a peaceful small courtyard.

Shedden Park Court is an attractive small modern residential development built by M & J Ballantyne, a reputable and well established local firm. There are seven houses in the development, four facing onto Shedden Park Road and three located to the rear of these. No. 7 is the furthest in of the three houses to the rear.

The house provides bright and nicely designed accommodation which benefits from gas fired central heating and double glazing. Kitchen and sanitary fittings are modern and decorations are good. There is good built in storage space.

An attractive feature of the house is its garden which enjoys a good amount of sunshine in the summer and includes an enclosed lawn to the front and an attractive area of gravel and paving to the rear. There is a timber garden shed with electricity. There is a single car parking space allocated to the house.
