23 Douglas Crescent enjoys a peaceful, yet accessible, cul-de-sac location in a popular residential area of Kelso. The house faces northwest to the front.

Arguably the most attractive of the Borders towns, Kelso is set in an area of great scenic beauty and is noted particularly for its fine Market Square and for the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys. The town sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot. Kelso provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities including golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling, National Hunt racing and fishing. There are plans to build a new high school in the town. Kelso has good road links with the other principal towns in the Borders and there is a main line railway station at Berwick upon Tweed. The Waverley Rail Link between Galashiels and Edinburgh is to re-open in September 2015 with the terminal being at Tweedbank which is approximately 16 miles from Kelso.

23 Douglas Crescent is an attractive, modern semi-detached house in a popular residential development within a sought after Borders town.

The generally spacious and well appointed accommodation has been extended into the original garage to create a dining room off the sitting room and benefits from gas fired central heating - other than in the dining room - along with double glazed windows. Kitchen and bathroom fittings are modern.

The house has small areas of garden ground to both its front and rear, along with a small border with shrubs at the side of the property. The front garden includes a gravelled parking space for one car, along with some decking, and the child/dog safe back garden is part gravelled and part slabbed.

There is a useful store in the front section of the original garage.
