2 Easter Wooden Cottages lies to pretty Borders countryside approximately 7 miles south of Kelso. The cottages are approximately 1 mile east of Eckford and number 2 enjoys tremendous outlooks along the Kale Water Valley. There are also fine views to the Cheviots.

The countryside around Easter Wooden is noted for its scenic beauty and provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor pursuits.

Each of Kelso and Jedburgh provide good shopping centres together with primary and secondary schooling and an excellent range of social and sporting facilities. There are also local amenities in the villages of Morebattle and Ancrum. The Borders railway, which terminates at Tweedbank, provides a regular train service to Edinburgh.

DIRECTIONS
From Kelso take the A698 towards Jedburgh turning east onto the B6401 at Kalemouth—opposite the Teviot Smokery and Water Gardens. Easter Wooden lies approximately 1.5 miles along this road on your right, access being via a shared private tarred road. Number 2 is the first cottage on your right as you head up this private road and sits side on to the road.

The smart and well appointed family sized accommodation benefits from oil fired central heating and double glazing,. Kitchen and sanitary fittings are modern. There is good built in storage space and a wood burning stove in the sitting room.
