Holefield Farm Cottages have an attractive rural location approximately 7 miles to the east of Kelso. The cottages have a south easterly aspect to the front. The countryside around Holefield is noted for its scenic beauty and the nearby Cheviots provide excellent opportunities for a wide range of outdoor pursuits. The Scotland/England border is less than one mile away.

Kelso is arguably the most attractive of the Borders towns and is noted particularly for its fine Market Square and the remains of one of the great Borders Abbeys. The town sits at the confluence of the rivers Tweed and Teviot and provides a good shopping centre together with an excellent range of social and sporting facilities - including golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling ,National Hunt Racing and fishing. Kelso has good road links with the other principal towns in the Borders and there is a main line railway station at Berwick Upon Tweed.

From Kelso take the B6352 Yetholm road, veering left at Proctor’s Smithy on to the B6396. Continue along the B6396 for approximately 5 miles before reaching Holefield Farm on your left (there is a sign to Cloud Nine Cattery at the turning). To get to the cottages you require to drive through the steading.

2 Holefield Farm Cottages is a pretty, traditional mid-terraced cottage with a lovely “wisteria” on the front wall. The cottage provides spacious, nicely proportioned and well presented family sized accommodation and benefits from gas fired central heating. Most windows are double glazed.

An appealing feature of the cottage is its fine garden to both front and rear. The garden includes gravel, lawns and borders. There is a good range of outbuildings with the cottage including two stone stores, a timber garden shed and an aluminium and glazed greenhouse.

Mains electricity and water. Shared septic tank drainage. Propane gas fired central heating.
