Clarilaw Brae has an attractive rural, yet accessible, location approximately 3 miles to the north east of Hawick. The house has a south easterly aspect to the front and enjoys excellent outlooks including views of Ruberslaw. Clarilaw is on the B6359 to Melrose which adjoins the A7 on the northern edge of Hawick.

Hawick, with a population of around 15,000, is an important Borders town which has grown up at the junction of the Rivers Teviot and Slitrig. The town has a good range of shops, primary and secondary schools, sporting and recreational facilities and the surrounding countryside is known for its scenic beauty, excellent horse riding and tremendous walking opportunities. Hawick straddles the A7 and enjoys good road links with the north of England and southern and central Scotland.

Clarilaw Brae is an attractive, modern detached house which dates from around 2005 and provides versatile and well appointed family sized accommodation. The house benefits from mains gas fired central heating, there is a mains gas fired log effect stove in the sitting room, and all windows and patio doors are double glazed. Kitchen and sanitary fittings are modern and there is good built in storage space - including built in wardrobes in three of the double bedrooms.

Clarilaw Brae sits within spacious garden grounds which include lawns, patios and borders. The area in front of the house is largely tarred and provides excellent off road car parking. There is additional mono-block car parking at the side of the property.

There is an attached double garage (with electricity) which has direct pedestrian access from the utility room.

Clarilaw Brae has mains electricity, gas and water supplies. Drainage is to a septic tank which is shared with and located at a neighbouring property. The “Alpha” gas fired central heating boiler is in the garage and serves radiators.
