Larkhall Cottages enjoy and excellent peaceful, yet central location a short distance to the east of, and uphill from, Jedburgh's Market Place.
The house enjoys open outlooks over Jedburgh. Larkhall Cottages are accessed either from Burn Wynd, at the foot of Exchange Street, or from Wildcat Cleuch at the top of Exchange Street. Exchange Street adjoins Market Place.
Jedburgh is one of the principal towns in the Scottish Borders and is a popular tourist destination. The town straddles the A68 which provides good vehicular access both north to Edinburgh and south to the northeast of England.
Jedburgh has a good range of amenities including shops, primary and secondary schools, post office, Doctor's surgery, hotels, sporting and recreational facilities. The main tourist attractions in the town are the historic ruined Abbey, the Castle Jail and Mary Queen of Scot's House. In addition, the surrounding countryside is noted for its scenic beauty and historic interest.
The generally bright and well appointed accommodation is on two levels and benefits from electric space heating and double glazing.
There is an attractive area of decking immediately in front of the house from which there are excellent outlooks over the town. The garden grounds and car parking in Larkhall Burn are communal.
