Kirksheaf is located approximately 0.3 miles east of Tain and 35.5 miles north east of Inverness. Tain has a good range of shops and amenities including major supermarkets, a railway station and schooling up to secondary level. Inverness is less than an hour’s drive away and has all the facilities of a modern city including its airport with regular flights to the South and Europe.Tain is on the Tarbat Peninsula, a promontory lying to the north of Inverness between the Dornoch and Cromarty Firths.
