The land is classified principally of Grade 5.3 by the James Hutton Institute with a small area of Grade 3.2. The property rises from approximately 21m to 27m above sea level at its highest point.The land has been identified as falling within the area required for the A96 dualling project and, as such, the owners may qualify for full compensation should the land be acquired for this purpose.
