Clounlaid and Crosben are located on the scenic Morvern peninsula, which overlooks Loch Linnhe and the Isle of Mull. The subject lie a short drive from the villages of Strontian and Lochaline. Lochaline provides good local amenities including a shop, post office, primary school, hotel and restaurant, as well as a community owend marina and ferry services to Fishnish on Mull. Strontian provides additional shops and services including a high school, and the Sunart centre hosts a range of cultural events. The towns of Fort William and Oban are both easily accessible by road and ferry.
