These delightful lodges which rarely come to the market, enjoy a stunning position above the banks of Loch Awe with Ben Cruachan providing a dramatic backdrop. The lodges benefit from the tranquillity and peace of a rural location and yet are only a short distance from the villages of Dalmally and Inveraray with their choice of shops, cafés, restaurants and other amenities. The lodges are accessed via a private, shared drive off the main road. Both have been successfully let as holiday accommodation but are equally suited for more permanent use or as wonderful weekend retreats from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Cherrytree (also known as Loch Awe View) is the more recent of the two lodges and is being offered in excellent condition throughout. The lodge is surrounded by a small garden laid mainly to grass adjoining which to the rear is an area of pretty woodland garden extending to about 0.5 acres. . To the side of the lodge is a deck which extends down to the front where it opens out to provide a delightful (covered) seating area. The lodge has two double bedrooms, bathroom and open plan living area from where the full benefit of the stunning views can be appreciated. From the living area sliding doors open directly onto the deck, beyond which is a further space to relax including a gazebo with hot tub, barbecue and additional seating.
Kingfisher, which neighbours Cherrytree, is also being offered in walk in condition. The lodge enjoys superb, uninterrupted views of the loch and Ben Cruachan. The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms and modern shower room and benefits from a separate galley style kitchen. The option also exists to extend the lodge subject to any required planning consents. To the side of Kingfisher is a raised walkway leading to the front with seating area and lodge entrance, beyond which is a large garden laid to lawn which slopes down towards Loch Awe. From here it is possible to access the loch for fishing and boating. Other features include a pergola with hot tub, barbecue area and fire pit. Both lodges come with off road parking for two cars.
